In Hindi beetroot is known as chukandar. The botanical name is "Beta vulgaris". Its shape and size are like that of turnips. Its color is maroon. Beetroot is grown inside the soil. It has lots of health benefits.


Beetroot is well known for salad and juice. Its color and taste are awesome.

Beetroot is very beneficial for both the face, skin, weight loss and general health. Beetroot must be included in the diet.
